Vince Balanta

Feet on the ground, gratitude in the sky

The life story of actor, model, television presenter and audiovisual producer Vince Balanta from Palmira is the story of many men and women who leave high the tireless spirit and determination of the Afro-descendant population living in the Pacific and Valle del Cauca.

Step by step, enjoying to the fullest every triumph obtained in his professional journey, he has earned a place in the Colombian audiovisual industry. His versatility as an actor can be seen in national productions such as Enfermeras, Pambelé, Comando Elite and Correo de Inocentes (RCN).

In this coming and going of characters, Balanta has the privilege of playing the role of the Quibdó intellectual Manuel Saturio Valencia, the first Afro judge in Colombia, the last to be shot, an emblematic name of the Chocó culture and the contemporary history of the country.

An experience that he deeply appreciates because getting into Saturio's skin is a tribute to his ancestral heritage and the struggle of his ancestors.
